Snowflakes

We got hit with a bit of snowfall. Not a lot, but enough that people got pretty excited.
I’m over it already. I’m not big on scraping the car.

Another Monotony Monday: a pretty pattern of my daily drone.

Jack’s reaching the point where he wants to colour. All the time! So fun and great that I can bring out all of the art supplies that have been ignored for so many years.
Happy Monday all! I hope that your day is full of colour too.

The day after!

Posted on | November 1, 2010 | 3 Comments

Ah…November 1st. My own little holiday when the candy goes on sale. Other great days include February 15 and mid January-ish.

Some interesting and totally useless candy trivia for ya:

  1. Introduced in 1929, Snickers was named after a horse owned by Frank and Ethel Mars. It is the #1 choice for Trick or Treaters today.
  2. Some 1920s names of candy bars included: Milk Nut Loaf, Fat Emmas, Big Dearos, Vegetable Sandwich, Kandy Kake and Chicken Dinner. Mmmm…Aren’t you sold?
  3. Sales for Reeses Pieces tripled after they were seen in Steven Spielberg’s movie ET. He had originally gone to M&Ms but they turned him down.

I hope that you are all enjoying this day. I can’t wait until I can send the little one out to collect this stuff for me.

In 2012 it was opened up to other masochistic parents (or observers of parents) who feel compelled to draw their stories.
