Let’s not pretend I was doing busy or having important.

Apologizing for not keeping up a blog is kinda lame so I’m not gonna.
I’m sure that you are all fine and having lovely times at other lovely blogs.

I’ve NEVER been good at doing anything creative or productive in the summer and turns out this one is no exception. If you’re wondering how I did blog posts LAST summer (with a newborn no less!) hold your applause. I did, like, 76 pre-posts instead of nesting or getting ready for my daughter’s arrival. Seriously. It’s documented.

Also I could probably muster up enough energy to abuse my exclamation point with phrases like:

I started a new job! Boy am I busy-bippity-bee!

Big beach day with the kids! Phew!

But lets be real here: sitting in an office drinking as much coffee as my stomach will allow while listening to music and having adult conversations is a facking vacation. And as for the kids, this is the first year in 4 years that I haven’t been pregnant or toting an infant. To quote a certain lispy, English chef that I have an unhealthy desire to give a noogie to: “easy peasy.”

So what have I been doing?
Well other than ignoring this blog, getting back to “working” and hanging out with self entertaining children….hm.

Oh!

I played (and cheated at) a lot of online Sudoku and got really good at it.

Now you may applause.

I hope everyone out there has been having as productive a summer as I.
