Richard Scarry’s Best Word Book Ever

Remember this one as a kid? It was, and still is as close to voyeurism as I could get to as a little lass.
Jack got this as a gift from his uncle (thanks, Bri) and going through it (almost daily) for over a year now it continually manages to keep us engaged and entertained. It has lasted through phases of identifying animals, colours, vehicles, foods, rooms of the house and still it’s the little-big book that keeps on chugging. I can’t wait until he’s a bit older and we can discuss why mice are at the zoo watching other animals and the Pig Family is eating ham for dinner. Cuh-RAZY!
I highly recommend adding it to your library. No jokin’.
Bonus: It’s flat and light and packs nicely for when we go on vacation (hah!) and have to limit the books we take.

How hilarious! What insight to see the Richard Scarry books as a form of voyeurism. My kids and I spent countless hours peeking into the lives of all theses little characters. I guess that makes us major voyeurs!

Thanks! I love(d) these books too. I always find the page with the mice looking at the animals in the zoo a big mind boggling, but I love the balloons!
