Imagination Backfire

I found a toy shopping cart at the recycling depot’s store and brought it home for Jack. He seems to really dig it.

I’m sure in his mind, it’s a vehicle for all the things he wants in life.

________________________________________________________
Unfortunately, my cynicism gets in the way of being totally happy for him.

I’m already sort of regretting the 25 cents I spent on the thing.
